About this collection

The neighboring towns of Springerville and Eagar, Arizona share a rich history.  Springerville was originally established in 1879 and incorporated in 1948.  Eagar was founded in 1888 with the name of "Union", in 1892 the name was changed to Eagar, and in 1948 it became incorporated as well.  Together these little towns are known as Round Valley.   This collection highlights the early people, places, and events of these sister communities.
